Family Messages Over Lifelines: Five Housemates Choose Heart Over Game (Reported)
REPORTED: Bigg Boss 20's new family task sets up a stage in the garden area, TellyChakkar and Film Window both report, where the song 'Sandese Aate Hai' plays and housemates are called up one by one with headphones. Each is handed another housemate's family cassette and must choose: play it and hand over the family photograph, or break it and gain — or keep — a lifeline. These details are reported from the live feed and the upcoming episode, not yet aired as a full episode at the time of writing.

Padded re-exports: the full person sits in the upper band; the text panel sits only on the empty band below. Converted to WebP. Portraits are editorial context, not episode photographs. No verified portrait of Yung DSA or Uditi Singh was available, so both are named in the text only; nothing is substituted. All task details are REPORTED ahead of tonight's episode (see sources).

Family Messages Over Lifelines: Five Housemates Choose Heart Over Game (Reported)
REPORTED: Manish Goel is the first contestant called, Film Window and the IndiaForums live-feed thread both report. He is given Qazi Touqeer's family cassette and two choices: break it for an extra lifeline, or play it and give Qazi his family photograph while staying on one lifeline. Manish chooses to play the cassette, giving Qazi his family message instead of taking the extra lifeline.

REPORTED: Gullu is next, TellyChakkar, Film Window and the live-feed thread all report — and his choice costs him the most. He receives a cassette with a message from Kanika Mann's father. Playing it means losing one of his lifelines; breaking it would keep both lifelines and make him a captaincy contender. Gullu plays the cassette, sacrificing his advantage so Kanika can hear her father's voice.

REPORTED: TellyChakkar reports that Gullu's decision lets Kanika Mann hear her father's heartfelt message in the upcoming episode, with the family photograph handed over. The report frames it as friendship over a personal advantage: Gullu willingly gives up a lifeline for a moment that belongs to someone else's family.

REPORTED: The chain of kindness continues, TellyChakkar and the live-feed thread report. Uditi Singh — who had herself received her family message through Yung DSA's sacrifice earlier in the task — is then given Manish Goel's daughter's message. She chooses to play the cassette and sacrifice one of her lifelines, so Manish gets his family moment and photograph. No verified portrait of Uditi Singh was available, so she is named in the text only; this page shows Manish, the recipient of the message.

REPORTED: Scout is called to the stage with Love Gill's family message, TellyChakkar and the live-feed thread both report. His choice is the same: play it and hand over her family photograph, or break the cassette and earn an extra lifeline. Scout chooses to play Love's message, giving up the extra lifeline rather than keeping it for himself.

REPORTED: The moment then takes an unexpected turn, TellyChakkar reports: Love Gill's family message is delivered entirely in Punjabi, leaving several housemates struggling to understand what is being said. The gesture lands, even as the words themselves confuse the room — a detail reported by TellyChakkar and echoed in the live-feed discussion.

Family Messages Over Lifelines: Five Housemates Choose Heart Over Game (Reported)
REPORTED: Across the five reported rounds — Manish for Qazi, Gullu for Kanika, Yung for Uditi, Uditi for Manish, and Scout for Love — nobody is reported to have broken a cassette. The task is also running alongside a captaincy challenge, TellyChakkar notes, which makes Gullu's sacrifice the sharpest of all: he traded a captaincy-contender spot for someone else's family moment.
