Two lifelines are the task's biggest remaining advantage: they are the currency of the captaincy race running alongside the family messages, and Mahhi is now the only housemate holding a pair. The contrast with her earlier moment in the same task is sharp — Mahhi had returned her own daughter's photograph, saying she did not want to keep it lest it make her emotionally weak, after Qazi sacrificed a lifeline so she could receive it. She kept her own lifelines while giving back the photo; on Arishfa's cassette, she kept the lifelines by breaking it.
