Bigg Boss 20 Captaincy: Powers, Duties and Immunity
Winning a task stage and becoming captain are not always the same event. A captaincy record becomes clear when it states the task, the final announcement and the powers attached to the role.

A contender is not yet the captain
A task can produce finalists or contenders before the house gets a captain. The early result narrows the field; it does not necessarily complete the selection. Read the label used in the episode and retain it in any recap.
The September 29 coverage reported Mahhi Vij and Uditi Singh as captaincy contenders. That wording does not establish a final captain. A later decision needs its own episode reference rather than an assumption based on that report.
Identify the consequence of each task stage
A task can involve a physical objective, a selection decision or a judgment about rule compliance. Record the objective and the person responsible for judging it. Then check whether the announced result awards the role or only an opportunity to compete for it.
A contested result is still different from a revised result. Housemates can argue about a decision without changing the official announcement. A recap needs to identify any actual revision separately.

Read the powers that are stated
Captaincy may involve assigning duties, making task-related choices or receiving protection under the rules announced for a round. The role’s title alone does not prove that every one of those powers applies.
If an episode states nomination immunity, note which round it covers. If it states a special choice, record the alternatives. The useful information is the scope of the power and the decision made with it.
Leadership involves decisions beyond winning
For an opinion about leadership, consider how a participant explains a choice, allocates responsibilities and responds when others disagree. These observations concern behavior. They do not add powers to the role.
