The distinction remains even when the same names appear in both places. A poll page cannot transfer its visitors’ choices to another platform simply by calling the interaction “voting.”

What a poll percentage means

A percentage describes a share of the entries counted under that poll’s method. It does not describe every viewer of the show. Participation can depend on who sees the page, when they arrive and which fan communities share it.

A worked example: 40 selections out of 100 counted selections equal 40%. If another 100 entries arrive, the percentage can move even if those first 40 entries remain unchanged. This example explains arithmetic; it is not a live Bigg Boss 20 result.

Compare like-for-like questions
