Bigg Boss 20 Glossary: Nomination, Immunity and Wild Cards

Nomination and eviction

Nomination means inclusion in a stated elimination process. Eviction means an announced departure under the show’s process. Being nominated and being evicted are separate events.

Example: a person can appear on a nomination list and remain in the house after the result. A fan poll placing that person last does not itself change either status.

Captain, contender and immunity

Captain is the announced house role. Contender means someone is still competing for it. Immunity means the protection explicitly awarded for a stated round or situation.

The captaincy guide explains why a contender cannot be described as captain before the final decision. Immunity also needs a scope: exemption from one task does not prove permanent protection.

Task, ration and special power

A task is an activity with announced objectives and conditions. A ration task concerns supplies available to the house. A special power is a defined choice or advantage granted by the show.

The title of a task does not explain every consequence. When a task links supplies to another decision, read both effects. A supply reward and nomination protection can be distinct outcomes of the same choice.

Weekend Ka Vaar and confession room

Weekend Ka Vaar refers to host-led discussions about events in the house and other segments in that episode. The confession room is a setting for conversations or instructions involving Bigg Boss and participants.

An instruction given in a separate room can explain a choice that other housemates do not yet understand. The audience may have more information than the people involved in the task.

Wild card and finale

A wild card is a participant introduced after the initial lineup under the show’s announced format. A finale is the concluding stage in which the season’s final outcome is announced.

An online rumor about an entrant does not confirm a wild card. A projected finale date does not establish the broadcast schedule. Both need an announcement from the show or its official platform.

Fan poll, trend and prediction

A fan poll records participating users’ opinions. A trend describes movement within a stated dataset. A prediction is a forecast rather than an outcome.
