Sidhu Moose Wala murder:- Mansa Police found a clue in the car used in the crime, which helped them unwind the trail of events before the murder of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The clue eventually led to the arrest of 10 people, including the prominent conspirator gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
A vital lead was the recovery of a fuel receipt from the Fatehabad-based petrol pump found in the Bolero, the vehicle used in the crime. Later after the murder, the Bolero car was abandoned near Khayala village, about 13 km from the place of crime, said the ADGP Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF).
He added that the police team has gathered the CCTV footage from the Fatehabad Petrol pump and has identified a possible shooter – Priyawarat from Sonepat. Notably, the police have recovered all the vehicles used in the crime, including this Mahindra Bolero, this Toyota Corolla, and this Alto.
Besides Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was arrested at the Tihar Jail in Delhi on a production warrant, nine other arrested persons have been identified. All the identified criminals has been arrested for hatching conspiracy, providing logistic support, creating reconnaissance and harbouring the shooters.
